Selecting a Shipping Method How Shipping Rates are Calculated
Depending on your shipping destination UPS Ground Shipping might be faster and less costly than other UPS shipping options. Refer to the shipping map at the bottom of this page or the shipping transit time for various shipping methods at checkout.
Please note that this schedule applies to all in stock items. If an item on your order is out of stock we will contact you via email within 24 hours so that you may revise your order if necessary.
CandleLuxury.com ships via UPS. Shipping charges are based on weight, size, destination address and shipping method. Real-time shipping quotes are made during the order process. Most items ship the same or next business day.
For UPS Ground based shipments, the map at the bottom of this page is the estimated delivery times to your delivery address. Please note that shipping days are defined as UPS Ground shipping days (non-holiday weekdays). CandleLuxury.com is not responsible for delays caused by the shipper. Additional order processing time might increase the total time to receive your order.
Free UPS Ground shipping is available on all orders over $70 shipped within the Continental United States. Orders under $70 are shipped for $6.95 flat rate if shipped within the Continental United States. Due to the higher cost associated with shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, shipments to these states will be quoted at actual UPS shipping rates at checkout. Expedited shipping (i.e. Next Day Air) is available at the rate quoted during the order process.
International Shipping, Including APO, FPO, US Territories
We ship worldwide! Through our partner International Checkout, we ship to customers in over 250 destinations, including APO, FPO, and US Territories. During the checkout process simply click the "Click Here for International Checkout" button and you will be directed to our international checkout page. Here you can select your shipping destination, currency type, and receive the shipping cost of your order.
Please note, if you are shipping to a APO, FPO, or US Territory you must use our international checkout. If you use our regular checkout for these shipments you will be contacted and asked to replace your order using our International Checkout.
What Item Availability Estimates Mean
Item availability is listed on each item page of our website. The majority of our items are in stock and available for immediate shipping. Orders placed before 2 PM CST ship the same day (M-F excluding holidays). The availability estimate listed on each product item page tells you if we have at least one unit of the item you wish to order in our warehouse. If the item is not in stock, the availability estimate tells you how long we estimate it will take to receive the item from our supplier. While you may order these items be aware that these items will not ship until we have them in stock.
Availability and Delivery Estimates
An item's availability estimate is not an indicator of how long it will take for you to receive an item. When you add items to the shopping cart you can display the shipping time estimated by UPS for various shipping methods (i.e. Ground, Next-Day Air, etc.). The actual shipping time is equal to the UPS shipping time plus any processing time including receiving out of stock items from our suppliers (if applicable).
Orders for Multiple Items
When ordering more than one of the same item please be aware that our availability estimates are intended for single item orders only. For example, if you are ordering 6 of the same item we might only have 3 in our warehouse. If this occurs you will be notified that your order is delayed due to a stock out of an item. Once we receive the items from our suppliers we will ship your order. Credit card charges will not be made until shipment occurs. PayPal payments are placed when orders are received not when shipped. If you receive notice of an out of stock item you may request that the items out of stock be canceled from your order and that we ship only the in stock items. Alternatively, if you wish us to ship in stock items now and out of stock items when they become available you may notify us to ship the in stock items now and the remaining items when they are in stock. However, this request will result in an additional shipping charge for each additional shipment. You may make these request by replying to the notification email. If you wish to wait until all items are in stock no response is necessary. If you receive a shipping notification without an out of stock notice your entire order was shipped.
When your order ships you will receive a shipping notification along with a tracking number. This notice indicates that all of your items have shipped unless previously notified of any out of stock items on your order.
Summer Shipping Policy
In most cases we will not ship on Thursdays and Fridays during the months of July thru mid September to avoid having your candles sit in a hot UPS truck or warehouse over the weekend. Typically we will package your order for shipping and process it with UPS but hold it until Monday before actually shipping it. Therefore it is possible you will receive a notice that your package has shipped along with a tracking number even though your order will not leave our warehouse until the following Monday. If you would like us to ship your order on these days you may do so by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. In the email simply reference your order number and indicate that you would like it to ship immediately and that you assume all risk for any possible heat damage. However, we highly discourage customers from shipping on Thursdays and Fridays.
If Your Candles Arrive Soft or Melted
Most candles are susceptible to heat damage during the summer months. If slight melting occurs during shipping place your candles in a cool place such as a refrigerator in their upright position for a few hours to harden the wax. If your candles were severely damaged by the summer heat you may contact us to request return for inspection and replacement. Once candles are burned they cannot be returned for exchange. Damages must be reported within 7 days.
Winter Shipping Policy
Due to the high volume of orders we receive during November and December it is not always possible to ship orders the same day and delays in shipping your order might occur. If you have a time sensitive order please contact us to see if your order might experience a delay. If you selected expedited shipping (anything other than UPS Ground) we will prioritize your order to insure it is shipped the same day if the order is time stamped before 2 PM CST.
Delivery times for UPS Ground shipments
CandleLuxury.com has partnered with a trusted third-party company, International Checkout, to fulfill orders for our International customers at over 250 destinations worldwide in over 33 international currencies. Simply put the items you wish to purchase in our Shopping Cart and choose the "International Checkout" option. Your items will be transferred to International Checkout for processing. You may pay by International credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. International Checkout will process your order, including billing, shipping and customer service. Once your order is completed, all inquiries should be directed to International Checkout at email@example.com
