Carriere Freres Candles
Paris based Carriere Freres Industrie was founded in the XVIII century by two brothers during the industrial revolution. Credited with reinventing the wax making industry they were also patent holders of many inventions including the famous Carriere night light which burned for hours with a constant light and now smoke. In 1889 they brothers were awarded the Exposition Universelle Gold Medal for their Madeleine candles which have been used by the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur ever since.
The Carriere Freres Industrie Candles offered today are based on the same quality and innovative qualities formed two centuries ago. Based on single base scent notes such as gardenia, lavender, and tuberose and underlying notes that provide balance and complexity.
